STORM LAKE - Hannah Breitbach scored 24 points and Mary Halvorson and Lindsey Buckles scored 17 apiece to lead Coe past Buena Vista, 97-92, Wednesday in Iowa Conference women's basketball.

Coe (11-9, 6-3) won for the fifth time in its last six games.

Mackenzie Reed added 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Kohawks.

Malarie Gilley scored 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds for Buena Vista (9-11, 3-6).

Breitbach made five of Coe's 12 3-pointers. Buckles splashed in four treys.

Coe's bench, led by Halvorson and Buckles, outscored Buena Vista's bench 44-22.

The Kohawks led 43-40 at halftime and built their advantage to 94-82 on Buckles' 3-pointer with 3:21 left in the game.

Buena Vista used an 8-0 spurt to close to within 94-90 with 53 seconds left.

Buckles made one free throw and Lindsey Jipp dropped in a pair to seal the win for the Kohawks.
