Maddie Bell blocked eight shots and collected eight kills Friday night as the Mount Mercy women's volleyball team defeated Graceland, 25-20, 25-22, 18-25, 25-21, in a Heart of America Conference match at the Hennessey Recreation Center.

Alyssa Weldon let the attack at the net with 16 kills for the Mustangs and Olivia Coe had 15. Kayla Daggett rolled up 41 assists in the four sets. Lauren Stopko had 33 digs and Weldon had 11. Daggett blocked five shots.

Mount Mercy raised its records to 12-3 overall and 2-1 in the conference. Graceland fell to 9-9 overall and 0-2 in the league.
