The Mount Mercy men's basketball team topped 100 points for the second straight game Saturday and dunked Maranatha Baptist, 105-58, in a non-conference affair at the Hennessey Recreation Center.
The Mustangs (2-0) defeated Viterbo, 107-84, in their opener Thursday and have come out of the gate swinging.
Mike Evans led Mount Mercy with 14 points and eight rebounds. Dennis McKinney matched Evans for scoring honors with 14 markers.
Umut Akkepenek tossed in 12 points in just seven minutes off the bench. Mohammed Albagami, Christian Reischauer and Bailey Basala scored 11 points apiece as six Mustangs reached double figures. Emilio Villagrana helped make it happen with nine assists.
