The All-American honors keep rolling in for Alexa Aldrich-Ingram.
The Kirkwood sophomore was named a first team All-American in volleyball by the National Junior College Athletic Association on Tuesday, and now she's been named a second team All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association.
The honor from the NJCAA on Tuesday was for Division II players only, but the honor from the AVCA is for players at all levels of junior college volleyball.
Aldrich-Ingram, a 5-foot-8 sophomore from Iowa City, finished second in the country this season with 709 kills as an outside hitter. She helped Kirkwood finish fourth at the NJCAA Division II national tournament with a 34-10 record.
Aldrich-Ingram spent one season with the Drake volleyball team in 2017. This was her only year of eligibility at Kirkwood and she plans to play at a four-year school next season.
