No. 10 KCC women roll by SCC

KEOKUK - The 10th-ranked Kirkwood women's basketball team roared to a 41-12 lead at halftime Wednesday night and dunked Southeastern, 70-48, in an ICCAC conference game in Keokuk.

The Eagles outscored the Blackhawks, 23-3, in the second quarter to take complete control of the game.

Ashley Tull scored 13 points for Kirkwood (15-5, 5-0). Mackenzie Jenkins finished with 12 points, seven rebounds, five assists, two steals and two blocked shots.

Anasha Hurst contributed 11 points in the victory. Johanna Myers hit three 3-pointers and scored nine points. Paige Bradford had eight points and seven rebounds.

Southeastern fell to 12-5 overall and 3-1 in the league. Andreisha Waller led the Blackhawks with 10 points.
