J-Hawks to induct 4 into Hall of Fame

PDF

Jim Cox, Connie Aldridge, Sue Hennick and Mike Humphrey will be inducted into the Jefferson High School Booster Club Hall of Fame Friday night.

Cox retired from teaching at Jefferson after the 2003-2004 school year. He taught for 32 years at Jefferson in the Industrial Arts Department and then in the Technology Department.

Cox was a successful head volleyball coach and assistant wrestling coach. He also was instrumental in fundraising for the booster club.

Aldridge has been the wrestling concession stand manager for the past 11 years. She graduated from Jefferson in 1971 and her three children are J-Hawk graduates. Aldridge also has given hundreds of volunteer hours in the football and track concession stands.

Hennick has been involved with booster club activities since her son Jay was a student at Jefferson. Over the years, it has become a family gathering with her children helping at the Kingston concession stands.

Humphrey will be honored at a football game this fall. He has been instrumental in helping with the concession stands at Kingston Stadium.
