VERO BEACH, Fla. - The Kirkwood baseball team ended its successful trip to Florida Tuesday with a 4-3 victory over Westchester (N.Y.) Community College.

The Eagles compiled a 6-2 record in Florida and raised their overall mark to 10-2.

Dairo Gonzalez snapped a 3-3 tie in the bottom of the sixth inning against Westchester with an RBI grounder that scored Eric Schenck-Joblinske from third base with one out.

Schenck-Joblinske hit a solo home run and scored two runs for the Eagles. Roly Hernandez drove in two runs.

Cale Henke got the victory in relief and Jake Triulzi got the save.

Kirkwood lost to UConn-Avery Point, 14-13, on Monday.
