FAYETTE, Mo. - Kristen Winter collected eight RBIs Tuesday as the sixth-ranked Kirkwood softball team swept a doubleheader from the Central Methodist junior varsity.

Winter had a double, home run and five RBIs as the Eagles won the opener, 15-0, in five innings. She collected three more RBIs as Kirkwood took the nightcap, 10-2, in five innings.

Kirkwood raised its record to 10-3 with the sweep.

Haylee Krack hit her eighth homer of the season in the opener. Kayla Tatge had a home run and two RBIs. Leah Duffe scored three runs.

Amber Logemann and Shyanne Saladino combined on a one-hitter with 10 strikeouts in the first game. Logemann struck out eight batters in three innings.

Lauren Weber drove in three runs for the Eagles in the second game. Sam Belz pitched a two-hitter with seven strikeouts.
