Larson paces KCC women in romp

WEST BURLINGTON - Freshman Kirsten Larson hit four 3-pointers and scored 16 points Saturday as Kirkwood clobbered Lewis & Clark, 88-48, in the second round of the Southeastern Classic in West Burlington.

Taylor Silva collected 10 points and eight assists for the Eagles (2-0). Hanna Haynes contributed 10 points and nine rebounds. Zoe Kelso scored 13 points.

Twelve players scored for Kirkwood.

Kirkwood will play Joliet (Ill.) in the first round of the Kirkwood Classic next Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Johnson Hall. The Eagles will face Kishwaukee (Ill.) in the second round Saturday at 3 p.m.
