Here is our Question-&-Answer session with Paige Hendrickson:

MSR: What is your favorite individual highlight in sports?

PAIGE: Making important clutch free throws to help my team win the regional final against Muscatine this year. Also being able to continue my basketball career in college has been a great highlight for me.

MSR: What is your favorite team highlight in sports?

PAIGE: Beating Muscatine this year in the regional final to advance to the state tournament. It was a great experience going to state as a senior. Another favorite team highlight was winning the high school state soccer championship in 2012.

MSR: What are your future goals in sports?

PAIGE: I'm excited to attend Southwest Minnesota State this fall and play basketball.

MSR: Who has had the biggest influence on your sports career?

PAIGE: My parents have always supported me and encouraged me. They have been at all my games. My coaches have influenced me as they push me to become a better basketball player. Vanessa Vega has been a mentor to me. She keeps me focused, pushes me to get better, and keeps me positive.

MSR: What are your favorite classes in school?

PAIGE: I enjoy science and math. I believe these classes will help me as I major in Exercise Science and Biology in college. I hope to some day be a Physical Therapist or Pediatrician.

MSR: What has been your favorite community service project?

PAIGE: Last year our basketball team adopted a family at Christmas and bought them gifts. Doing something for others is important and makes me feel good.
