BETTENDORF — Rachel Perry and Lannie Nietert won titles for the Linn-Mar Lions at the Pleasant Valley Invitational girls track meet Friday in Bettendorf.

Perry captured the 400 meter dash in 1:00.30. Nietert won the shot put at 37 feet, 1/2 inch. The Lions also claimed the 4x800 relay in 9:40.44.

Iowa City West won the team championship with 141 points. Linn-Mar placed fourth out of six teams with 100.5 points.

Perry finished second in the 200 meter dash (27.06), and the Lions were the runnerup in the 4x400 relay (4:01.52).

Linn-Mar got third-place showings from Halley Morgan in the 200 (27.37), Sydney Johnston in the 3000 (11:19.93) and Nietert in the discus (110-5). The Lions also took third in the sprint medley and shuttle hurdle relay.
