Thoma, Nelson lead Wash swimmers

Delaney Thoma and Emily Nelson were triple-winners Tuesday night as the Washington Warriors rolled by Hempstead, 128-42, in a Mississippi Valley Conference swim meet at Washington.

Thoma claimed the 500 freestyle and swam on the triumphant 200 freestyle relay and 400 freestyle relay. Nelson captured the 100 fly and swam on the victorious 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay.

Lauren Havertape, Hannah Williams, Lucy Ernst, Logan Eckhardt and Alyssa Harris were double-winners for the Warriors.
