Printy nets 16 as Wash nips Prairie

Jared Printy scored 16 points to lead the Washington boys basketball team to a 48-47 win over Prairie on Tuesday at Washington.

After a back-and-forth first half, the second half was close all the way and the Warriors improved to 9-9 with the win.

Keegan Moore scored 12 points and grabbed eight rebounds for Washington.

Max Smith Drahos led the Prairie Hawks (8-11) with 10 points and five assists. Ben Boldt added eight points with eight rebounds.

PRAIRIE (47): Clark 2 2-2 8, Fisher 3 0-0 8, Smith Drahos 2 6-8 10, Brown 1 0-0 3, Rima 0 0-0 0, Meeker 0 1-2 1, Boldt 3 2-2 8, Lorenz 1 0-0 3, Schrader 2 0-0 6. Totals 14 11-14 47.
