Linn-Mar senior Logan Benter has accepted an offer to join the University of Dubuque football team for the 2015 campaign.

Benter, 5-foot-11, 205 pounds, played linebacker and running back for the Lions.

He made 35 tackles last season, including four tackles for losses. He also had two interceptions and recovered a fumble.

On offense, Benter carried the ball 42 times for 204 yards for a 4.9-yard average and three touchdowns.

Linn-Mar finished 9-2 last season and reached the second round of the Class 4A playoffs.
