Sprinkel's Coe career ends with loss

MASON, Ohio - Coe senior Noah Sprinkel dropped a 6-4, 3-6, 6-3 decision to Emory's Alex Ruderman in the opening round of the NCAA Division III tennis tournament on Thursday.

This was the 13th time a Coe men's tennis player Kohawk had been invited to the NCAA National Singles Championships and the third-straight year for Sprinkel. He joins Jon Turbett, Johnny Watson and Nick Barnes as the only Kohawks to earn multiple invitations to the event.

Sprinkel finished this season with a 13-4 singles record. The three-time Iowa Conference MVP finished with a 79-22 singles record for his career.
