The Cedar Rapids Washington softball team split a high-scoring doubleheader with Dubuque Senior Tuesday at the Washington field.

The Warriors took the first game, 11-9. Dubuque Senior won the nightcap, 10-8.

The split left Washington at 5-5 overall and 4-4 in the Mississippi Valley Conference. Dubuque Senior is 7-10 overall and 4-6 in the league.

Grace Stockmaster went 3-for-4 with three RBIs for Washington in the 11-9 victory. Payton Bruner was 2-for-4 with two RBIs.

Caiti Peterson was 2-for-4 with three RBIs for the Warriors in the 10-8 setback. Dana Riley was 2-for-3 with two RBIs.
