Kennedy falls to 9th in baseball rankings

Cedar Rapids Kennedy fell all the way from No.1 to No.9 in the IHSBCA baseball rankings this week after losing a doubleheader at Fort Dodge on Saturday.

Southeast Polk took over the No.1 spot in the Class 4A poll. Fort Dodge is now seventh.

Dubuque Hempstead is No.8 in the ratings, one spot ahead of Kennedy. The Cougars swept a doubleheader from Hempstead Monday night, but the rankings are based on games through this past Saturday.

Kennedy plays at No.6 Davenport Central Tuesday night.
