No.5 Prairie rallies by Ankeny

The magicians who play baseball at Cedar Rapids Prairie pulled another victory out of their caps Monday night.

The fifth-ranked Hawks erased a 5-0 deficit and defeated Ankeny, 7-5, at the Prairie field. The Hawks scored three runs in the fifth inning and finished the comeback with four runs in the sixth.

JP Havel-Pisarik threw 5 1/3 scoreless innings in relief to pick up the victory as the Hawks raised their record to 29-7.

Trey Beckman went 3-for-4 with a double, home run and five RBIs to spark the comeback. Nic Mougin and Ben Boldt were both 2-for-3.
