Visitation and services have been set for Bill "Herk" Herkelman, the long-time Cedar Rapids Kennedy teacher and baseball coach who died Friday morning.

The visitation will be held on Monday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 155 Boyson Road in Marion.

Services will be held on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church.

Herkelman, 77, spent 36 years with the Kennedy baseball program as the head coach or assistant coach. He was an assistant coach on this year's team that will play in the Class 4A state tournament in Des Moines on Wednesday.
