Jon Keller and the Bowie BaySox won the Eastern League title Saturday night with a 7-2 victory over Reading in the Class AA playoffs.

Keller, a Xavier grad, pitched two scoreless innings in a playoff game against Reading on Thursday.

Keller pitched in seven games for Bowie this season after being promoted from Frederick at the Class A level. He had a 0-0 record and 3.55 ERA at Bowie, with eight strikeouts and eight walks in 12.2 innings.

Keller had a 3-4 record and 3.82 ERA at Frederick. All told, Keller finished the season with a 3-4 record and 3.77 ERA in 37 games at the two stops in the Baltimore organization, with 58 strikeouts and 35 walks in 76.1 innings.
