Washington girls roll by Wahlert

DUBUQUE - The Cedar Rapids Washington girls basketball team exploded for 36 points in the third quarter Tuesday night and dumped Dubuque Wahlert, 73-46, in a Mississippi Valley Conference game in Dubuque.

Vanessa Eniola led the Warriors with 17 points.

Anne Visser finished with 13 points, six rebounds, five steals and three blocked shots for Washington. Joniqua Clark had 11 points and five steals. Payton Bruner finished with eight points and seven steals.

The Warriors made 23 steals in the ballgame.
