CVC girls fall to Easton Valley

SPRINGVILLE – Four players scored in double figures for the Cedar Valley Christian girls basketball team, but the Huskies lost to Easton Valley 65-52 in a Tri-Rivers Conference game Friday.

Maggie Cach scored 13 points for Cedar Valley (5-8), Emma Slagle and Candace Wilson each scored 11 points and Elisabeth Fields had 10 points.

Kalli Miller scored 21 points to lead the River Hawks (9-6).

EASTON VALLEY (65): Theisen 4 4-9 12, Green 0 0-1 0, Bormann 0 0-0 0, Thines 0 0-0 0, Miller 7 2-3 21, Petersen 7 0-2 14, Budde 0 0-0 0, Grant 0 2-2 2, Strait 2 2-2 6, Zaruba 3 3-5 10. Totals 23 13-24 65.
