AMES - The Kirkwood men's golf team dominated the competition at the  Region XI Spring Prevu at Veenker Memorial Friday in Ames.

Max Thrune of Kirkwood tied Avery Fuhs of DMACC for first place with a 73.

Six Kirkwood golfers finished in the top 10 in the individual standings. Louis Flynn and JD Goodfellow shot 75, Jordan Evan and Charlie Hartwig finished at 77, and Niall Powell had a 78.
