SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - The Mount Mercy men's basketball team lost to  Evangel, 91-89, in overtime Saturday in a Heart of America Conference  game in Springfield.

Streeter McIlravy popped in six 3-pointers and scored a career-high 27  points for the Mustangs (9-10, 4-9). Bailey Basala finished with a  double-double with 23 points and 11 rebounds. RoyShawn Webb  contributed 19 points, seven assists and six rebounds.

Evangel raised its records to 12-8 overall and 8-6 in the conference.

The Mount Mercy women's basketball team lost to Evangel in the first  game of the doubleheader, 77-44. The Mustangs trailed 18-3 after the  first quarter.

Sarah Moffett scored 12 points for Mount Mercy (4-14, 1-12). Brianna  Thomas had 11 points and Kennedi Fulwylie 10.

Evangel raised its marks to 11-8 overall and 9-5 in the league.
