Jefferson High School senior center Ryan Eivins has decided to play football next season at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge.

Eivins was a two-year starter for the J-Hawks on the offensive and defensive lines. He was second team all-conference in the Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Division as a senior.

Iowa Central finished 6-4 last season, including a win in the Graphic Edge Bowl.  The Tritons, coached by Kevin Twait, finished the season ranked No. 20 in the country.

Eivins turned down offers from several Division II and NAIA programs in favor of Iowa Central. He will sign his letter of intent at a ceremony on Monday (Feb. 6) at 3:15 p.m. at Jefferson.
