Grant Sheeley's goal put Kennedy on the board in the first half and the Cougars added another minutes later en route to a 2-0 win over Waterloo West on Tuesday night at Kennedy.
Sheeley's goal came in the 12th minute off assists by Tyler Pape and Eric Bertroche. Six minutes later, Bertroche scored a goal. Nolan Butlet and Riley Galbraith were credited with assists.
Kennedy evened its records at 3-3 overall and 2-2 in the MVC. The Cougars recorded their third shutout in four games.
