DUBUQUE - Josh Steffensmeier, Josh Hoffman, Isaac Frisch and Connor Ramlo scored goals Tuesday as the Xavier Saints blanked Dubuque Senior, 4-0, in a Mississippi Valley Conference game at the Dubuque Soccer Complex.
Logan Buschette, Kory Donithan, Dan Cowden and Hoffman collected assists.
The Saints, ranked No. 6 in Class 2A, finished the regular season with a record of 7-8-1. Xavier won state titles in 2010 and 2011 and will be seeking its third straight crown this spring.
