WEST DES MOINES - Xavier High School graduate Mitch McLaughlin helped Patch.com win the championship in the Capital City summer basketball league Sunday.
Patch.com defeated Peak Performance, 99-96, in the finals.
McLaughlin, a 6-foot-1 guard, was redshirted as a true freshman at Drake this past season.
Tyrus McGee of Iowa State scored 29 points to lead Patch.com in the championship game and was named the league's Most Valuable Player.
