CEDAR FALLS - Jacob Olson put on a free throw clinic Thursday as Cedar Rapids Jefferson upset Cedar Falls, 54-46, in the final game of the Mississippi Valley Conference season.
Olson cashed 11 of 12 free throws and scored 23 points as the J-Hawks finished the regular season with records of 11-10 overall and 8-8 in the league.
Ky Kramer scored 12 points for Jefferson and Creighton Robinson added 11. The J-Hawks won the game at the foul line, hitting 18 of 20 compared to 8 of 18 for Cedar Falls.
Ike Boettger paced Cedar Falls (17-4, 13-3) with 15 points.
