Waterloo East won a Mississippi Valley Conference shootout at Cedar Rapids Prairie Thursday night, 71-67, in the final game of the regular season.

Three Trojans scored in double digits for Waterloo East (10-11, 5-11) as Daeton Hoskins, Desmond VanArsdale and Andrew McGrane combined for 41 points.

Prairie's Jace Hanna scored 21 points. Tom Eilers made five 3-pointers and added 18 for the Hawks (5-16, 4-12).
