Washington boys rally on the planks

IOWA CITY -- Washington got games of 234 and 231 in the Baker round to rally from a six-pin deficit and beat Iowa City West, 2893-2754, Friday in a Mississippi Valley Conference boys bowling meet at Colonial Lanes.

Nick Seng rolled a high game of 220 and high series of 408 for Washington (8-7, 5-5 MVC).  Quincy Bruce rolled games of 200 and 206 for a 406.

Nicholas Chezum rolled a 245 high game and 431 series for West (4-9, 3-7).

WASHINGTON (2893): Nick Seng 220-408, Jay Niblick 190-339, Quincy Bruce 206-406, Zach Christensen 191-377, Mitch Beebe 172-305, Ryan Bundy 199-355.

IOWA CITY WEST (2754): Zach Clemence 191-370, Cory Reid 187-347, Jonathan Vidhamali 215-412, Will Ross 181-331, Nicholas Chezum 245-431.
