Xavier remained the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union's top-ranked team in Class 2A girls soccer in the polls released Thursday.

The Saints are 9-1 and face a test against Class 3A No.8 Kennedy on Friday at Xavier.

Linn-Mar slipped one spot to No.3 in Class 3A.

Ankeny is top ranked in Class 3A, Davenport Assumption in Class 1A,
