Kayla Armstrong and Lizzy Bailey scored two goals apiece and No.1 Xavier rocked Dubuque Wahlert, 5-2, Monday in girls soccer at Xavier.

Sydney Wright also scored a goal for the Saints.

Armstrong also had two assists. Grace McDermott, Marisa Berutti and Lizzy McWhinney also had assists.

Keeper Sarah Chicchelly had three saves.

Wright's goal with 4:35 left in the first half gave Xavier a 1-0 lead it carried into halftime.

Wahlert tied the game with 37:12 left to play.

Xavier scored the next three goals. Armstrong took an assist from Berutti and scored with 30:17 left to break the the tie.

Bailey scored next off an assist from Armstrong, and Armstrong's header off a pass from McWhinney padded the lead to 4-1 with 11:54 left in the game.
