Brooke Stauffer and Alyssa Olson fired two-hitters to lead Jefferson to a pair of wins Saturday at the Jefferson Classic softball tournament.

Stauffer, who authored no-hitters in her previous two starts, struck out 10 in Jefferson's 1-0 win over New London.

Olson fanned 12 in the J-Hawks' 4-2 win over Davenport North.

Dani Stromert doubled home Paige Timmerman in the sixth inning for the lone run of the game against New London.

Maddie Hansen backed Olson with a solo home run in the win over Davenport North.

Jefferson (6-0) is ranked eighth in Class 5A.

In other games Saturday, New London beat North Cedar 5-1 and Davenport North beat North Cedar 8-5.
