Halle Lueck drove in the game-winning run with a walkoff single in the bottom of the seventh Monday as Prairie upset No.8 Jefferson, 3-2, in the first game of a Mississippi Valley Conference softball doubleheader at Prairie.

Jefferson rolled in the nightcap, 12-2.

Katie Kuch pitched a complete game for Prairie (7-3, 3-1) in the opener. Malia Gudenkauf went 2-for-2 with a double.

Maddie Koolbeck was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI for Jefferson in the opener.

In the nightcap, Maddie Hansen was 3-for-5 and drove in six runs, and Amber Grimm was 3-for-5 with four RBI for the J-Hawks.

Erin Kuba added a two-run double, and Savanah Fowler had two hits for Jefferson.

Gudenkauf went 2-for-3 for Prairie in the second game.
