WEST ORANGE, N.J. - The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders scored four goals in the third period to beat Youngstown, 5-3, Sunday in the USHL Atlantic Challenge exhibition series at Codey Arena.

The RoughRiders went 1-1-1 in their three games.

The score was tied, 1-1, heading into the third period.

Youngstown took a 2-1 lead on a goal 4:04 into the third period, but the RoughRiders scored the next three goals to take a 4-2 lead.

RoughRiders scoring goals were Dylan Gareau, Judd Peterson, Alex Funk, Charlie Curti and Dylan McLaughlin. Dylan Steman had a pair of assists.

The RoughRiders host the Dubuque Fighting Saints in an exhibition game Tuesday at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena. Puck drops at 7 p.m.
