No.11 Eagles set mark for 3-pointers

CRESTON - The 11th-ranked Kirkwood women's basketball team set a school record with seventeen 3-pointers Wednesday night during a 100-45 victory over Southwestern in an ICCAC conference game in Creston.

Kirsten Larson led the barrage with six 3-pointers for a career-high 18 points. Danielle Woolfolk canned four triples and scored 24 points.

Mikayla Fallon had three 3-pointers, Cassidy Clark hit two, Katelyn Tuttle made one and Tyra Polite had one. Clark scored 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds. Polite had six assists.

Kirkwood shot 17 for 29 on 3-pointers for 58.6 percent. The Eagles raised their records to 23-6 overall and 11-4 in the league.

Jill Vanderhoof and Darian Polson scored 11 points apiece for Southwestern (5-23, 2-13).
