ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Auston Matthews scored with 8 minutes, 56 seconds left in the third period Saturday night to lift Team USA by the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, 3-2, before 359 fans in a USHL game at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube.

Team USA also topped the RoughRiders by one goal, 5-4, in overtime Friday night in Michigan.

Team USA jumped to a 2-0 lead in the first period Saturday, but Cedar Rapids battled back and tied on goals by Kevin Shand in the second period and Jason Kalinowski early in the third period.

Danny Tirone stopped 27 of 30 shots for the RoughRiders.

Cedar Rapids fell to 29-18-3 with the consecutive losses. Team USA raised its record to 23-20-3.
