VAN HORNE -- The Marion boys golf team finally got a chance to play Monday and made the most of it, beating Benton Community 174-179 at Tara Hills.

Marion's Brandon Keel and Benton's Jacob Germann tied for medalist honors at 40.

Matt Schnieders had a 41 for Marion.
