The Linn-Mar boys soccer team trounced Waterloo East, 9-0, in a Mississippi Valley Conference game at the new Linn-Mar stadium Monday night.

Tyler Lemon scored twice for the 11th ranked Lions. Austin Wolter, Michael Thul, Brian Simons, Eric Pfau, Connor Johnson, Kyle Kruger and Jason Gingrich scored one goal apiece.

George Steil had a quiet game in goal for Linn-Mar. Waterloo East attempted only one shot, but it was off the mark and did not require a save.
