DUBUQUE - Annee Cooper made the game-winning penalty kick as Cedar Rapids Washington trimmed Dubuque Wahlert, 2-1, in a double-overtime shootout Monday.

Sophi Malcom made two key saves for Washington, ranked No. 14 in Class 3A, in the shootout. Tori Carson scored a goal and Maddi Hines had an assist for the Warriors (2-0, 2-0 Mississippi Valley Conference).

Dubuque Wahlert is ranked No. 2 in Class 1A.
