DUBUQUE -- Wahlert scored the lone goal of the game in the 67th minute and beat Prairie, 1-0, Thursday in a Mississippi Valley Conference girls soccer game.

"(We) played a great game and held the majority of the possessions and had more promising chances on goal," Prairie Coach Cara Solness said. "But, unfortunately, the score landed in favor of the Wahlert girls."

The loss dropped Prairie to 2-1 overall and in the MVC.
