Linn-Mar senior Kyle McNeal plans to continue his swimming career at the University of South Dakota, it was announced Tuesday.

McNeal participated in four events at the state swim meet this year. Heplaced 12th in the 100 freestyle and finished 13th in the 100 backstroke. He also helped the Lions finish 13th in the 200 medley relay and 13th in the 400 freestyle relay.

McNeal will sign his letter-of-intent with South Dakota on Wednesday at3:45 p.m. in the Linn-Mar High School Media Center.

Ross Lembeck, who has committed to the University of Iowa wrestling program, also will be honored Wednesday at the ceremony.
