Kernels put Stewart back on mound

The Cedar Rapids Kernels and Minnesota Twins announced Wednesday that pitcher Kohl Stewart has been activated from the 7-day disabled list and will start in Wednesday night's game at Beloit.

Stewart went on the DL July 25 with a right shoulder impingement. He has made 17 starts for the Kernels, posting a 3-5 record and 2.42 ERA. In 81.2 innings, he has allowed 69 hits and 33 runs (22 earned) with 23 walks and 53 strikeouts.
