Kennedy jumped from ninth to fourth in the Associated Press boys basketball rankings Tuesday (Dec. 21), just in time to host seventh-ranked Washington tonight.
The Cougars (5-0) and Warriors (4-1) tangle at Kennedy at 7:30.
Linn-Mar (6-0) continues to lead the rankings, garnering nine of 10 first-place votes. Sioux City East (5-0) received the other first-place vote and is No. 2 in the poll.
Jefferson (5-1) fell from No. 3 to No. 5 after losing to Washington last week, but managed to land two spots ahead of the Warriors.
