ELMHURST, Ill. - The Coe College volleyball team opened its season with a pair of victories at the Elmhurst Invitational Friday.

The Kohawks defeated Spalding, 25-16, 25-15, 25-20, and took care of Westminster, 25-18, 25-18, 25-16.

Rachel Bosworth collected nine kills, six blocks and three aces against Spalding. Mackenzie Harbaugh had 22 assists in that match.
