Cedar Valley Christian has decided to add girls soccer to its list of varsity sports teams, CVC Principal Jeff Pospisil has announced.

Girls have played on the boys team at Cedar Valley the past few years, but now they'll have their own team.

Cedar Valley Christian now offers seven varsity programs with football, volleyball, boys basketball, girls basketball, boys soccer, girls soccer and baseball.

The Huskies joined the IHSAA and IGHSAU for the 2011-12 school year.
