Cedar Rapids Kennedy senior Jake Misener has decided to continue his basketball career at Mount Mercy University, according to Kennedy Coach Bob Fontana.

Misener is a 6-foot-1 point guard who helped the Cougars finish 17-5 this season. He averaged 6.5 points and 4.4 assists.

Misener missed two games with a shoulder injury and was hindered in other games by the ailment.

Mount Mercy finished 19-10 this season, giving Coach Paul Gavin a 302-286 record in 19 years. The Mustangs are an NAIA school that competes in the Midwest Classic Conference.
