CEDAR FALLS – Jenna Wagemester had eight points to lead the Prairie girls basketball team in a 51-40 loss to Cedar Falls on Friday.
Emilie Rotter and Olivia Usher each had seven points for the Prairie Hawks (0-3).
Prairie led 17-6 after the first quarter, but struggled offensively the rest of the game. The Tigers also made 17 free throw, compared to six for the Prairie Hawks.
Adrienne Boettger had 17 points for the Tigers (2-1), and Addison Long added 12 points.
