DAVENPORT -- Maddi Hines' goal carried Washington past Davenport Central, 1-0, Friday in a nonconference girls soccer game.

Washington (14-3) won its 10th game by a one-goal margin and its sixth by a 1-0 score. The Warriors have won four of their last five games by a 1-0 margin.

Washington's next game is June 1 against Dubuque Senior in a Class 3A regional tournament game at Kingston Stadium.
